| Excellent glasses be careful not to drop them | |
| | I absolutely love these glasses. Having two young children means that when I put down a mug it is usually a while before I remember to pick it up again. with these glasses the coffee does stay very warm. Warning though, if you want to get rid of visitors quickly, do not make them a cup of tea in these! Also they tend to break at first fall (unlike those tough ceramic mugs) and I have been through quite a lot but wouldn't ever change to any others.

| | The glasses work perfectly - drinks stay warm long enough to enjoy at your leisure. The only reason I don't give this item 5 stars, is that the glasses feel a little "cheap". ALthough they are indeed glass, they feel very much like plastic (due to the vacuum I imagine), and a heavier feel would have finished them off perfectly.

| | I've had glass mugs before, and must say that I do like them, but I tend to get through them rather fast - within two months the pair I got for Christmas were broken! Oddly enough, although these mugs feel very delicate, they actually appear to be quite sturdy, and so far, so good, I haven't broken any of the four I bought. I haven't tried them with cold drinks, being a coffee lover myself, but they certainly do a good job of keeping a hot drink hot for longer. I can get absorbed at something on my computer and when I reach out for my coffee later it's still as hot as ever. Be warned, though, there's no pleasing some people and my partner complains that his coffee takes too long to cool down enough to drink!
The twin-wall technology also works well keeping the outside of the mug cool to the touch. This is great because you aren't going to burn yourself or drop and break the mug because it is too hot. On the other hand, you can't warm your hands on it either.
When it comes down to it, though, I didn't buy these mugs for their heat-retaining qualities. I bought them because they are big, hold a lot of coffee and look great.
| | | For many years, I have made myself coffee, drank it slowly, and then endured my wife's complaints when I threw out the last inch or so because it had got cold. No more - these keep it reasonably warm for an hour or so. However, do remember they are glass - my wife dropped one on our tiled worktop and smashed it before I had even used it! They dishwash and microwave well.
