| | excellent quality product, fine coffee. somehow the process of pouring hot water and coffee into it and pressing it has led it to completely shatter though. I haven't washed it so am rather clueless as to how this occurred. Terrible product.
| | | This is a reasonable product at a reasonable price. It works well although, like all cafetierres, you need to use coarse ground coffee to avoid the sludge at the bottom of the cup. I would recommend that you buy yourself a decent coffee grinder and make your own grind. I remember reading somewhere that coffee from a cafetierre is the 'healthy' option as it's the extra heating of 'instant' (as part of it's processing) or percolated coffee, causes the formation of a compound that promotes cholestrol (it's not the caffeine!). Mind you, if you were worried about that, you'll probably be drinking green tea!
| | | This coffe maker is very different from the others. It is just very good for cups of gourmet , high qualitiy coffe. Another advantage is it is very esay to use. I am sure it will change the meaning of" coffe" for you not just in your mind but also with the aromatic tastes.
